Shanny from @lightofmine.love was a Pilates client of mine a little while before I found out she was a photographer. After shooting with her last year before going OS, I knew I wouldn’t be able to shoot with anyone else ever again. “We came across Shannon through some friends and decided to get some family photos done with our 5mo and I’m so glad we did. She’s got an amazing eye for beautiful natural shots. I love how the photos are of us at home just doing things we’d normally do. We didn’t need to get too dressed up or even go crazy tidying the house. She made the everyday of our lives look beautiful. One of my favourite photos shows the humidifier on our bedroom floor - it will always remind me of those long but special nights cuddling a sick bubba and making sure he was ok. The experience of having a photoshoot with Shannon was an absolute gift. In the past I had always felt uncomfortable, hated the process and a lot of stuff would surface. Not this time!
